The author shares her experience of meeting people in the foreign land and the commonality she could trace in them. From their lifestyle to thinking as well as thoughts on preserving nature was no separate to ones that the author had. Throughout the narration, the author highlights on the importance of recycling old things and transforming them into new materials for example – how people in the village created bulb using a plastic bottle, water, bleaching powder and sunlight. The book highlights many such instances instilling in the mind of readers of recycling and preventing the destruction of nature.
