Born on September 18, 1943, Vijay Singh entered superior forest service of Maharashtra in 1966 & underwent 2 years in-service training, leading to award of FAO approved AIFC PG Diploma in forestry, at the IFC, Dehradun. He is the recipient of Brandis Award (1991) for innovation of an afforestation technique. This autobiography book is anecdotal narrative of tales that illustrate the central issues of bygone era.
